ballet summer school day one (:

oh man! i have muscle ache!! my arms esp. but still, im really happy! summer school is really fun!! i changed in school before going for ballet & all i can say is this: i got a lot of stares. stupid tights. oh wells.

first we had an hour of comtemporary dance. which was really fun! the teacher is so nice and cute. haha. and she's called sue!!! (: for e performance on saturday i think our dance is going to be something really fishy! lol. we did actions like the swimming backwards and forwards, pufferfish (compete with the typical fish-mouth action) & others. it was really fun! as in a fun fun, no technique required, no worrying about turn-out etc sorta dance (: & we did this counter-balance move which is pretty cool. like u hold e hips of ur friend who leans forward so that her body is like this / but yet she can balance. meaning u have to use your weight & sorta make it balanced. & i have to say tt, girl, u r heavy!! haha. sorry. but for e next 2hours my arm muscles were dying. & now i have muscle ache... ahhh.. theres still e whole of next week!

ballet wasn't as fun though. cuz, well yeah. my technique sucks, my turn-out sucks etc etc. & e teacher is sorta scary. not mean scary or anything but the expects alot sorta scary. i really really really REALLY have to work much harder if i want to take & pass intermediate this year, since i cant take it next year... sigh. anyway, for our item during the performance, going to be an adapted version of the garland waltz from sleeping beauty (we're dancing it without garlands).

u know tt really really pro sec3 sc girl who was one of the (few) girls doing pointe for sc's syf item last year?? she's in my class!!! she's super pro! sigh. & e pianist is also a choreographer and teaches ballet as well i think. OMG so pro!!! oh wells. if i can pass intermediate this year i'll be more than happy.

oh. e ballet teacher thought we were advanced not intermediate (ballet grades go like this: pre-primary, grades1-8, intermediate foundation, intermediate, advanced 1&2) & when she found out we were inter girls she said that we were good. im sure!!! in any case, i hope she's right, & we're all pretty good. cuz inter is not gonna be easy to pass. sigh.

got reminded to bun my hair. oops. i'll figure something out tmr. haha.
