dance today was... scary! but actually quite fun too (: we learnt this mini-dance, which is super hard (to me at least) & we'll have to dance that for our 'audition' next wednesday, to see what roles we get for syf. according to laoshi, the syf will have the same sort of feel as the mini-dance that we learnt. which is great! (: cuz its nice!

argh i must practice the dance! at the end of dance we were supposed to do it in groups of 3, & i was with ivy & vernus (: it was pretty depressing cuz its like you know the steps, you really do! but somehow when u dance it in groups of 3 everything just disappears. it was awful, like while practicing i could (dont ask me how come, i didnt even know i could either) catch my right back leg all 3 times, but when we were supposed to dance it at the end, guess how many times i caught it? yep. zero. oh wells. practice makes perfect right? i shall mark steps with ivy everyday (:

oh on a happier note, i think ive truely gotten to the almost-there stage for cartwheels, without mat! (: (: thats the only thing that went right for our presenting of the dance for me at the end of pract today. i did 2 decent ones (:

the trick is to not think about your legs at all. cuz i was so intent on bringing my leg up & all, i was doing ponches instead of cartwheels. haha. yay! its all down to the body & hands. simple, right? yeah, right. lol.
